Let’s Pencil It Out: How to Price Your Local Food Products
Are you making any money? It’s time-consuming to track the production costs of your local food and ag business. Then, you have the costs of labels, packaging, credit card fees, transportation and more to ready your local food product for market and sell it to your customers. At this workshop, Central Wyoming College’s Bootstrap Collaborative Director Mike Hoyt will guide you through simple strategies to quickly calculate your product pricing. He will also demonstrate how to adjust your margins to include the sales commissions of selling through EatWyoming.com, Riverton’s Fremont Local Market, and Lander’s Meadowlark Market and Kitchen.
